Syd is a second-year Westmoreland County Community College graphic design student with over five years of experience using Adobe products. They specialize in illustration, design, and video editing, combining technical proficiency with creative vision to produce compelling visual content. Syd also practices traditional artistic mediums such as drawing, graphite sketching, charcoal, acrylic painting, water painting, and more. Their work has been featured in various student exhibitions, and they have collaborated on several projects ranging from branding to digital media. With a strong foundation in design principles and a keen eye for detail, Syd strives to create engaging and impactful designs. Syd is excited to continue honing their skills and exploring new creative opportunities in graphic design and art in general.
Syd is also a finalist in the 2024 America250PA Direct Effect Innovation Challenge. The competition and judging occur on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1 pm at the Capitol Building in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The competition can be watched for free on the PCN Channel or at https://pcntv.com/channel-4/. Both the channel and website will rerun the competition after it originally aired.
